Desktop: xfce-4.4.1, kdepim-3.5.6 (third build, with pilot-link-0.12 support). Networking: kdebluetooth-1.0_beta2 (new build, with sysconfdir=/etc/kde), pidgin-2.0.0, bluez-firmware-1.2, bluez-hcidump-1.34. Desktop: following the layout of slackware-current, new builds for xfce 4.4.1 (with sysconfdir=/etc/xfce) and kde 3.5.6 (with sysconfdir=/etc/kde, new builds for arts too). Miscellaneous: parted-1.8.7, gparted-0.3.3 (second build, compiled with parted-1.8.7). Networking: claws-mail-2.9.2 (new entry), libetpan-0.49 (new entry). Multimedia: amarok-1.4.5 (fourth build, recompiled with kde 3.5.7), libcddb-1.3.0 (new entry), libcdio-0.78.2 (new entry). With the introduction of hal in slackware-current, it will be progressively supported in tarballs as well, starting from the kde 3.5.7 e xfce 4.4.1 ones. Removed xfmedia (a bit unstable on my system) and kdebluetooth (to be re-added when it won't be in beta stage anymore). Miscellaneous: fuse-2.6.5, lirc-userspace-0.8.2 (replaces the previous lirc tarball). The complete news archive is available here. As time goes on, old news disappear from the main page. ![]()
